Printing Methods

At Aplomb Celebrations, we offer a selection of printing techniques to enhance your stationery, including standard, letterpress, embossing, and white ink.

Standard (Digital Printing)

Digital printing is a versatile and economical option where the ink lays flat on the card and is our go-to for vibrant, detailed designs. It’s perfect for producing sharp, full-colour images on your stationery, offering both quality and affordability.

Letterpress

Letterpress has become a go-to for those seeking timeless, tactile stationery. The design is pressed into paper, creating a deep impression you can feel. For a subtle, elegant effect, we also offer blind letterpress, where the impression is made without ink.

White Ink

Embrace modern elegance with white ink on coloured stock for a bold, luxurious look. We recommend using our coloured stocks over printing colour on white card, for a richer, more premium finish.

Emboss

Embossing creates a raised effect on your stationery, adding dimension and sophistication. This technique is perfect for subtly highlighting details like monograms and names, giving your event stationery a truly refined, luxurious touch.

Card Colours

We’ve curated a selection of popular colours and options for your stationery needs. If you’re seeking a specific colour that isn’t listed here, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ll happily explore our extensive range of supplier options to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Paper FAQs

GSM stands for "grams per square meter." It’s a way to measure the thickness and weight of paper. The higher the GSM, the thicker and sturdier the paper will feel.

Absolutely! You can opt for double thick stock, where two sheets are bonded together to create a more substantial and luxurious feel. We highly recommend this option for orders with letterpress printing to enhance both the tactile experience and visual impact. These premium stocks range from 540-700GSM. For semi-custom stationery, simply select the double thick paper option when choosing your product options.
